Omnium: a cargo bike that still rides like a bicycle
The Omnium Cargo V3 WiFi is a high-performance cargo bike built for riders who want real carrying capacity without the weight and sluggish handling of traditional long-tail cargo bikes.
Its lightweight steel frame and optimized geometry create a ride feel closer to a fast commuter or gravel bike than a traditional utility bike.
Designed in Copenhagen and trusted by commuters, families, and delivery riders worldwide, the Cargo V3 WiFi combines fast bike handling with serious everyday utility.
Large cargo capacity in a compact footprint
The integrated front rack measures 83 × 50 cm and supports up to 75 kg / 165 lbs of cargo. Carry groceries, tools, packages, sports equipment, or child seats while maintaining stable, predictable handling.
The "WiFi" platform is designed around high-volume 55 mm tires front and rear, improving comfort, traction, and control on rough city streets and mixed terrain.
The latest V3 generation adds:
- Adjustable rocker dropouts
- Thru-axle compatibility
- Internal gear hub support
- Gates belt-drive compatibility
- Increased versatility for future upgrades
This makes the Cargo V3 WiFi one of the most adaptable and future-proof cargo bike platforms available today.

Upgrade: Electrify Your Omnium
Living somewhere hilly, hauling heavy loads, or just want easier rides? Add electric assist to your Omnium with one of our motor kits — we install them in-shop and can dial in the right setup for cargo use.
- Temper Front Hub Kit (20") — drops into the Omnium's 20" front wheel, our most popular option for cargo bike electrification
- Temper Rear Hub Kit (700c) — fits the Omnium's 700c rear wheel for a more rear-biased power delivery feel
- CYC Photon Mid-Drive — refined mid-drive option for riders who want maximum torque and a more natural ride feel under load
Test ride and consultation included with any kit purchase. Book a slot to talk through the right option for your build.
Another option: Temper Cargo Fork
Not ready for a full cargo bike? Our Temper Cargo Fork turns a standard bike into a Cycle Truck — a 20" front wheel with a low cargo platform, built to handle real loads. A different solution for a different use case. View the Temper Cargo Fork →
FAQ
Can I put kids on the front rack?
Yes. Omnium sells a kid bench accessory that bolts to the front rack and includes seat belts. The bench fits two kids up to ~7 years old, or one older kid plus cargo.
Is the Cargo V3 electric?
The base Cargo V3 is non-electric. Omnium offers an e-assist version with a Bosch mid-drive system — ask us about availability. Either version works great in hilly Santa Cruz, though the e-assist version makes the climbs much easier with a load.
How does it compare to a Bullitt?
The Omnium is steel (softer ride, slightly heavier frame) and the Bullitt is aluminum (stiffer, lighter). Omnium has a more refined, road-bike feel; Bullitt has a sportier, faster feel. Both are great — come test ride both if you can.
Will it fit in my garage / through doorways?
Length is roughly 95 inches — longer than a regular bike but shorter than a longtail cargo. Most single-car garages and standard doorways accommodate it fine. Bring your tape measure when you visit.
