When to replace your Ultra or Dubbel battery
Lithium-ion packs lose usable capacity over time. Replace yours when range has dropped meaningfully, the bike cuts power under load on hills, or the pack won't reach a full charge anymore. A fresh pack restores factory range and rideability.

FAQ
How can I tell if I have an Ultra/Dubbel or a Classic?
The Ultra and Dubbel have a chunkier, blockier battery shape — visually distinct from the long thin Classic-era packs. If unsure, send a photo of your existing battery and we'll confirm.
Will my Blix charger work?
Yes. Your existing 48V Blix charger is compatible.
What's the real-world range?
Blix rates the Ultra at 45-60 miles depending on assist level. In hilly Santa Cruz expect 30-40 miles with mixed riding. Flat coastal riding gets closer to the high end of the rated range.
