Where to Ride
Santa Cruz has some of the best e-bike riding on the California coast. Our most popular routes:
- Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk → Natural Bridges — flat coastal path, about 6 miles round trip
- Rail Trail (Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail) — paved, mostly flat, runs through Capitola and Aptos
- West Cliff Drive — scenic cliff-top path along the ocean, 3 miles one way
- Pogonip & UCSC trails — mild off-road, great views of the bay
We're right on Soquel Ave — easy access to the Rail Trail and a short ride to the coast. Ask us for current trail conditions and recommendations when you pick up.
What's Included
Every rental comes with a helmet, lock, and a printed map of local routes. Our fleet is maintained in-house by our own mechanics — these aren't worn-out tourist bikes. We keep our rental bikes in the same condition we'd want to ride them ourselves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-ins welcome when bikes are available. Booking ahead is recommended on weekends and holidays — we have a limited fleet.
What kind of e-bikes do you rent?
We rent Temper-converted bikes — quality bicycles with our own front hub electric conversion kits. They're lightweight, comfortable, and easy to ride.
Do I need experience riding an e-bike?
No. We give every renter a quick orientation. The assist is intuitive — if you can ride a bike, you can ride one of ours.
What's the age/ID requirement?
Renters must be 18+ with a valid ID. A credit card is required for the security deposit.
How far can I go on one charge?
Our bikes have a 36V 10Ah battery — typically 20–40 miles depending on terrain and assist level. More than enough for any local ride.
